A Body to Die For

A Body to Die For © 2003 Kate White Warner Books, ISBN: 0446531480 The first-person voice is lively and consistent. Interesting character, believable circumstances. PLOT: Journalist (amateur sleuth) Bailey Weggins is in desperate need of a little R&R after solving the murder of her boss' nanny. While at a spa resort, she discovers a dead body and begins collecting information about the murder victim. This puts her in danger--emotionally as well as physically. Well done, but I was disappointed with the lack of editing that would have made the book more comfortable to read.
